Dragonfly Macro

As a fellow photographer, I feel the need to tell you what I like and don't like about this piece. So, here I go.

I like your concept. Although not especially unique, I can see where you wanted to go with this and I like the vibrancy of the colors, in the eye especially.

There are many things I have issues with, however. The blurry body and wings make me think this dragonfly hardly even has a body, and it distract my eyes greatly. It is the same for the stick it is perched on. Changing the lens on your camera and playing with the other features it has to offer (instead of just using the manual settings) will give you a more distinctive, detailed picture. I would also like to see more of a definition of all the tiny wonderful lenses a dragon fly eye has.

With some minor modifications, I think you can do very well with your photos, so keep it up! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)"/>
